School Administrative Coordinator
Position: School Administrative Coordinator (part time)
Reports to: Head of School
Location: Good Dharma International School
Role Summary
The School Administrative Coordinator plays a central role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations of Good Dharma International School. This position involves managing communication with parents and external stakeholders, maintaining accurate student and school records, supporting invoicing and light accounting, and assisting the Head of School and teachers with administrative and operational needs.
Key Responsibilities
Communication & Correspondence
Respond to school emails and inquiries in a timely, professional manner.
Liaise with parents, staff, and external partners to share updates and information.
Student Management System
Maintain accurate student records and update enrolment information.
Ensure attendance, schedules, and reports are up to date in the system.
Invoicing & Accounting Support
Generate and send invoices to parents on time.
Record and track payments, follow up on outstanding balances.
Assist with simple bookkeeping tasks and monthly financial reporting.
Operational & Administrative Support
Assist the Head of School with scheduling, planning, and coordination of meetings and events.
Maintain filing systems, staff records, and school documents.
Order and manage school supplies and resources.
Social Media & Communications
Support the creation and posting of school updates and events on social media platforms.
Collaborate with the Head of School to ensure consistent messaging and branding.
Event Coordination & CSR Projects
Help plan, organize, and execute school events, parent engagement activities, and community projects.
Support the school’s CSR initiatives by coordinating with staff, parents, and local partners.
Classroom Support (As Needed)
Provide assistance in the teaching environment when extra support is required (e.g., helping with activities, supervising children).
Qualifications & Skills
Excellent organizational and communication skills.
Strong English proficiency (spoken and written).
Comfort with digital tools and school management systems.
Basic accounting or bookkeeping knowledge preferred.
Flexible and collaborative mindset, with the ability to support in multiple areas.
